The future of movie industry

European Film Forum Tallinn is conference run in parallel with Dark Nights Film Festival to explore new perspectives with respect to challenges and opportunities brought about by digital technologies.

Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival is a unique event combining a feature film festival with the sub-festivals of animated films, short films and children/youth films. Initiated by the European Commission in its 2014 “Communication on European Film in the Digital Era”, PÖFF hosted European Film Forum Tallinn (EFFT) conference to discuss the future of film. The event is a public debate and showcase conference where leaders of the film, media and technology industries discuss the European DSM initiative, present cutting-edge products and services from the creative and tech fields, and jointly map out future scenarios for the future of Europe’s content business.
